Welcome to my first ever blog post! As the days to Valentines approaches, and the days start to get a little brighter I realize why its so important to celebrate.... not just for love.. but for hope. Lets be real this years January was a dreary one, gloomy days, -20 below weather, cold, brisk and down right depressing. I dont know about you but i could alwasy use a reason to celebrate, and Valentines is not a bad way to start the bright spots to the year!
Now on that note, the flowers, a time in Canada especally when we dont get to see beautiful blooms when we walk out the door, having a vase filled with fresh flowers in the house can always brighten up your day, I learned that the hard way during Covid. Stuck in the house doing mundane house chours, keeping a bright cheerful bouquet on the counter made every task a little less frustrating.
So my takeaway after an ugly january, buy some flowers, treat yourself, celebrate the hope and lets collectivley look forward to Spring!
